The forestry sector and its extremely variable requirements were the starting point for the development of the Protos® Integral principle. Because branches and other objects in the forest are very likely to get caught on components of head protection, all parts of the Protos® , from the visor to the hearing protection are integrated and make it impossible to get caught up.

With certification in accordance with EN397, EN 352-3 and EN1731, the Protos® Integral Forest is the perfect choice for the toughest applications and extreme weather conditions, from wet-cold to dry-hot temperatures.

The patented neck cradle system ensures a perfect fit to the head and as this gently hugs the nape of the neck, even when the hearing protection is not in use, the Protos® stays in position on the head and doesn’t fall off.

A large surface area combined with high visibility colours ensures increased visibility in the forest.

The ventilation slider system on the helmet crown allows active ventilation keeping the head cool in warmer conditions. The slider can be closed in colder and wet conditions. The slider system not only offers benefits in wear comfort but also serves as an additional bumper in case of impact, before the force penetrates to the main helmet shell.

The specially designed honeycomb patterned visor allows a greater field of vision and with the application of a special coating, rain and moisture runs off the visor. The visor is coated with an anti-glare finish to deflect dazzle from the sun. The rubber strip on the top edge creates a seal between the helmet and the visor to prevent water running onto the face.

Every adjustment of the Protos® accessories is easily done with the slightest of effort.

All hygiene pads are removable and can be machine-washed to maintain freshness.

Delivery & Returns

Orders placed through this website by 3.00 pm will be dispatched the same working day (or the subsequent Monday for weekend orders), subject to stock availability.

Delivery for orders to mainland Great Britain is free if your order is over £100 + VAT.  If your order is under £100 + VAT then there is a delivery charge of £7.50 + VAT.  Delivery to the Scottish Highlands and Islands, Isle of Man, Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland will be charged £15 + VAT.  (For customers in the Republic of Ireland, please note that we don’t quote for any possible customs charges you may incur and, if any are due, this will be at the cost of the customer).

You will receive an email or text message (depending on details provided during ordering process) letting you know when your order has been dispatched.  Once your order has been dispatched, tour courier will attempt delivery twice on consecutive days.  If the courier needs to try a third attempt, you may be liable for a re-delivery charge.

We do not offer international deliveries, please visit www.protos.at to find a Distributor or Stockist near to you.

We usually use a courier service to deliver larger items, which normally requires a signature. If you are likely to be out when our delivery is due, you may enter delivery instructions (e.g. ‘please leave with neighbour’ or ‘please leave parcel in porch’) in the order notes as you check out. However, if you do ask for goods to be left on your property (e.g. in the porch or shed) while you are out, the courier will be unable to get a signature, so this is at your own risk.

Whilst we guarantee to dispatch in-stock items the same day, we cannot guarantee exact delivery date/time against factors beyond our control e.g. courier delivery failures, bad weather conditions and manufacturer stock issues.
