The Black Yellow Protos® Integral Arborist helmet is a safety helmet for chainsaw work at height.

The Protos® Integral Arborist is fitted with a special Maclip chin strap and Crash Absorber.

Maximum Safety with Total Comfort

  • Your Protos® Arborist comes with a Maclip chin strap and Koroyd Crash Absorber.
  • Your Protos® Arborist visor provides an unobstructed view giving maximum all round visibility.
  • Your Protos® Arborist provides all round protection against vertical and horizontal impacts.
  • Your Protos® Arborist gives you a very comfortable fit due to the easily adjustable 20 different size options. Setup is a one time operation so that there is no need for any readjustment.
  • Your Protos® Arborist has a patented neck cradle system, which when engaged, gently hugs the back of your neck, helping to keep your Protos® securely on your head. The neck protection also acts as an additional safety feature by protecting the back of the head to avert the risk of skull base fracture.
  • Opening the ventilation slider on the helmet crown creates an active ventilation system where air can flow around your head keeping you cool whilst working. In cooler and rainy weather, simply close the slider. The slider will detach from the shell if struck in a big impact, thereby removing the energy from your head.
  • The KlimaAir® internal absorption pads transport perspiration away from the head helping to keep you comfortable throughout the working day.

To further enhance your Protos® Arborist safety helmet, the unique Protos® modular system allows customisation to your specific requirements with the addition of integrated safety glasses and a range of accessories.

For safety reasons, the Protos® shell should be replaced every 5 years (starting from the manufacturing date). This is available separately.

For hygiene reasons, regular washing of the main support is recommended. Replacement of these should be 2-3 years when used daily.

Delivery & Returns

Orders placed through this website by 3.00 pm will be dispatched the same working day (or the subsequent Monday for weekend orders), subject to stock availability.

Delivery for orders to mainland Great Britain is free if your order is over £100 + VAT.  If your order is under £100 + VAT then there is a delivery charge of £7.50 + VAT.  Delivery to the Scottish Highlands and Islands, Isle of Man, Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland will be charged £15 + VAT.  (For customers in the Republic of Ireland, please note that we don’t quote for any possible customs charges you may incur and, if any are due, this will be at the cost of the customer).

You will receive an email or text message (depending on details provided during ordering process) letting you know when your order has been dispatched.  Once your order has been dispatched, tour courier will attempt delivery twice on consecutive days.  If the courier needs to try a third attempt, you may be liable for a re-delivery charge.

We do not offer international deliveries, please visit www.protos.at to find a Distributor or Stockist near to you.

We usually use a courier service to deliver larger items, which normally requires a signature. If you are likely to be out when our delivery is due, you may enter delivery instructions (e.g. ‘please leave with neighbour’ or ‘please leave parcel in porch’) in the order notes as you check out. However, if you do ask for goods to be left on your property (e.g. in the porch or shed) while you are out, the courier will be unable to get a signature, so this is at your own risk.

Whilst we guarantee to dispatch in-stock items the same day, we cannot guarantee exact delivery date/time against factors beyond our control e.g. courier delivery failures, bad weather conditions and manufacturer stock issues.
